MUSLIMAH SWIMSUIT: HOW TO COVER YOUR HAIR?

With regards to the swimsuit for Muslim women, it does not only refer to the swimming attire that is loose and cover the body properly, but more than that, the main concern that differentiates it with other modesty swimsuits is about covering the hair, which is also part of Muslim women’s aurat.

The question is how to cover the hair with Muslimah swimsuits?

Take a look at these pictures...

Usually, the sellers of this product will provide you the swimsuit together with cap and tudung. There are three ways where you can cover your hair while wearing Muslimah swimsuit:

1) Wear the cap only – Suitable to be styled when you swim among women only and in closed areas.

2) Wear the cap with the tudung inside the suit – Suitable to be styled when you swim.

3) Wear the cap with the tudung outside the suit – Suitable to be styled when you want to have fun with the water besides the pool, and do not intend to swim.

Which one of the styles you prefer? It depends on which one you feel comfortable with as well as the environment that you are in… The decision is in your hands…

  1. I'm not a muslim, but I really want to understand your religion. Can I ask a few questions without sounding unrespectful?

    1. I got it that hijab protect women from men's desires and valorizes inner beauty. But isn't intelligence a part of that inner beauty? So why shouldn't a muslin woman talk from equal to equal to a man?

    2. Wouldn't it be more efficient, and more right, to make people to have respect and be mindful of others, instead of having both men and women to cover their bodies?

    3. If a muslim woman wants to marry, does she have the chance to choose her husband or is he picked up for her? Can a muslim woman choose not to marry?

    4. Does a muslim woman have to wear a hijab at home (with only her husband and children, and maybe some relative like a cousin)?

It would mean sooo much for me if you answered these for me. I still have a lot to learn, but I think I'm in the right direction.
    Thanks!
